VCs expect a complete reversal from the 2023 dry season, but, as Fredrik Cassel   (Creandum) says, 2024 is the year of truth. There will be an increased focus on retention and value. 🤝 GPs, while fundraising your next fund is still hard as most LPs are still retracting their VC allocations, keep in mind the advice from Miriam Rivera (Ulu Ventures): GPs need to align interests long-term with their LPs. Keep an eye out for sovereign wealth funds and family offices, which are expected to increase allocations to the asset class. 📈 LPs, liquidity is coming—slowly, hopefully, then suddenly.
